Jennifer Hannum

Bio

Jennifer is a rower, environmental scientist, meditation practitioner, and adventuress. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, she is currently working on her certification as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher with a focus on Nature-based Mindfulness. Her deep and abiding passion is equitable access to clean water for all whether it be for drinking or recreation.  Access to clean water is everyone’s birthright.

 

Michigan Mindfulness Meditation Workshop

Who: All attendees, no experience necessary.

What: a 60-minute workshop including 30 minutes of guided meditation followed by 30 minutes of journaling.  Please bring a journal, writing instrument, and something to sit or lay down on.

Where:  Day Stage under the tree at the end of the paved path

When: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday – 11:00am

 

Michigan Memories Writing Workshop

 

Who:  All who had attended Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival in person. No writing experience necessary.

What: A 60-minute workshop including a journal prompt and brief discussion followed by a silent writing session.  Please bring a journal and writing instrument.

Where: Community tent tables.

When: Friday, 1:00pm

Why: All those great memories of Fest stored in your head? Let’s get them on paper to make sure we don’t lose the history of Us. Leave a written account of your experience of the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival for future generations to find. Let them know the truth.  It was full of shenanigans, transformative, and absolutely real. Daily journal prompts will also be available.
