Elizabeth Boyce

Bio

Elizabeth Boyce is a musician and teacher based in Chelsea, Michigan. Though she is primarily a violinist and violist, Elizabeth also enjoys exploring other instruments such as piano, ukulele, and mandolin. Her teaching style is warm and open, flexing with the group or individual as needed. Elizabeth holds a safe emotional space for the sacred space of music making. Elizabeth attended University of Georgia (DMA), University of Michigan (MM), and Grand Valley State University (BM).

WPI Ukulele Ensemble

This class is for beginners who have an interest in exploring the joys of playing the ukulele! We will cover aspects of playing such as basic strum patterns, chords, and musicianship. The class will study music by women songwriters and will culminate in our group performance at the end of the festival.
